Rockord Manor & SEC Exam Protocol
To ensure a smooth and fair examination process, all students must adhere to the following exam protocols:
- Dress Code & Arrival
- Full school uniform must be worn at all times.
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam start time or oral examination slot.
- Prohibited Items
- No smartwatches, mobile phones, or any interactive electronic devices are allowed.
- No electronic dictionaries permitted.
- Only clear water bottles are allowed in the exam hall.
- Pencil cases must be transparent (a Ziploc bag is ideal).
- Bags and coats are not permitted in the exam hall or oral exam centre.
- Students arriving more than 20 minutes late will not be permitted to enter the exam.
- During the Exam
- If you experience any issue or concern, raise your hand to attract the attention of the superintendent.
- Under no circumstances should candidates communicate with each other during the exam.
- Toilet Breaks and the final 20-minute rule
- All toilet breaks must be recorded on the exam paper by the superintendent.
- Candidates will be escorted to and from the toilet by an exam official.
- No toilet breaks or leaving the exam centre will be permitted in the final 20 minutes of the exam.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in disciplinary action by the SEC (State Examination Commission) whereby the paper will be cancelled and an investigation opened. These protocols are in place to maintain fairness and integrity in all examinations.
